The SOP team successfully completed a team building activity spanning three provinces for three days and two nights in November
Our company organized a significant team building activity from November 2, 2024 to November 4, 2024. The three-day company team building activity allowed us to enter Hunan Province, Guangdong Province, and finally return to Jiangxi Province. This activity not only enhanced understanding and trust among colleagues, but also made me deeply appreciate the importance of teamwork. As a member of Jiangxi SOP Precision Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd., I would like to share with you our team building activity!
Our first stop was to depart for Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. As we took the bus, we were extremely excited and happy under the guidance of our tour guide! In the car, we listened to the tour guide explain the local attractions, characteristics, and cultural customs, and then our colleagues took turns singing their favorite songs. In such an atmosphere, time seemed to pass faster, and the four hour drive seemed to pass in one fell swoop. Our first destination was Mangshan in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. After getting off the bus, we conducted our team building activity at the Mangshan scenic spot. The team building activity this time tested the cooperation and unity of the team, so we first played a few small games, such as "Listen to numbers to grab people", "Listen to instructions to grab water bottles", "Load and move forward", etc. We played games in groups, and the members of the group cooperated with each other, generally following the captain's command. Each person played the maximum role according to their own strengths and positions. After the games ended, we began a true team building trip and officially headed towards Mangshan.
Mangshan is located in Yizhang County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. It is the largest forest park in Hunan Province and a green treasure trove with lush forests and beautiful scenery. It is known as the "Second Xishuangbanna" and the "Natural Arboretum of the South". Mangshan is named after the vast forests and the presence of pythons. Mangshan is adjacent to Ruyuan, Lianzhou, and Yangshan in Guangdong Province in the east, west, and south, with a total area of 20000 hectares and 6000 hectares of primary forest. There are more than 150 peaks above 1000 meters in Mangshan. The highest peak, Mengkengshi, has an altitude of 1902 meters and is known as the "Number One Peak in the South of China". There are various types of forest vegetation here.
We walked eight kilometers on foot and then took a cable car and a helicopter to reach the top of the mountain. We saw the beautiful scenery on Wuzhi Peak. Although it rained on the way, we still happily climbed the whole mountain. The scenery at the top of the mountain is really rare to see, shrouded in clouds and mist, like a fairyland. We experienced the Yao chicken banquet and Yao song and dance at Yanziyan for dinner in the evening, and the locals were very enthusiastic.
Due to the natural forest environment and excellent air quality in the area, we all experienced the famous hot springs on our first night here. SOP's friends all changed into their swimsuits and soaked in the comfortable hot springs.
Next, we arrived at Yunmen Mountain in Guangdong Province. Although it may not be as difficult to climb as Mangshan Mountain, the scenery is not inferior to Mangshan Mountain at all. Here, we saw waterfalls, walked over a long glass bridge, and reached the top of the mountain. As they were walking towards the mountaintop, it suddenly started to rain. SOP's friends continued to move forward in the rain, persevering and eventually reaching the mountaintop, where we saw the beautiful scenery.
In the team building activities, we also participated in various forms of games and challenges, which not only exercised our physical fitness, but more importantly, enhanced our psychological resilience and teamwork skills. Through these games, I have come to realize that trust among team members is the cornerstone of teamwork. Only when we trust each other can we communicate and collaborate better, and overcome difficulties together. And the establishment of this trust requires us to constantly communicate and exchange ideas in our daily work to enhance understanding.
In addition, team building activities also give us the opportunity to relieve ourselves from daily work pressure, relax and release stress. In a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, we are more likely to open up and share our personal thoughts and feelings, which helps to enhance the relationship between colleagues.
Overall, team building activities are not just a simple gathering, but a baptism of team spirit and an enhancement of teamwork skills. Through this team building, I have come to a profound understanding that in order for a team to succeed, it requires clear goals, excellent leadership, mutual trust among members, and good communication. The team building activity was successfully completed. Special thanks to every SOP member for their persistence and the support of the company. Looking forward to our next team building activity!
