Amidst the busy work pace, our company organized a significant team building activity, which was held in Qili Ancient Town, Ganzhou, Jiangxi. This was not only an opportunity to relax, but also an important moment to enhance team cohesion and collaboration spirit.On the day of the team building activity, the weather was sunny and bright. We arrived at the outdoor expansion base and were greeted by a challenging team development training. Under the guidance of a professional expansion coach, we quickly divided into several groups, each of which selected their own captain. With the coach's explanation, we learned that the expansion training included simulated tractor driving activities, drumming and catching activities, dressing competitions, and flipping numbers and sorting activities. Each project required us to fully utilize the power of teamwork in order to complete smoothly.
As a team member, I am well aware that team building activities have extremely important significance for both individuals and teams. In daily work, we are often busy with our own tasks and rarely have the opportunity to truly relax and communicate deeply with colleagues. But team building activities provide us with an excellent platform to temporarily put aside work pressure and get to know each other again in a completely new way.
Enhancing team cohesion is the most direct change I have felt. In team building activities, we are no longer just colleagues, but partners fighting side by side. For example, when expanding outdoors, we need to complete various team building activities together. In these activities, I deeply realized that only through mutual trust and support can we overcome difficulties. This trust and tacit understanding gradually establish during activities and continue into daily work. I have found that I am more willing to collaborate with colleagues in my work because we have formed a strong team cohesion through team building activities.
The team building activity greatly improved my communication and collaboration skills. During the activity, we often need to achieve our goals through team games or tasks. For example, in games like "flipping numbers" or "dressing up faster than speed", I learned how to express my thoughts more clearly and also learned to listen to others' opinions. This improvement in communication skills has greatly benefited me in my work. Moreover, through teamwork to complete tasks, the tacit understanding between me and my colleagues has unconsciously strengthened. This tacit understanding enables me to collaborate more efficiently with the team in my work, reducing misunderstandings and conflicts.
In addition, the team building activities also made me feel the company's care for its employees and met my social needs. In a relaxed environment, I can share interesting stories and troubles from my life with colleagues, and this kind of communication makes me feel warm and valued. After playing a series of activities, we slowly strolled around Qili Ancient Town. The area here is wide and the environment is beautiful, which is very suitable for family outings or company team building. Here we saw various animals that everyone likes, as well as many cultural performances. And there is also a food street here where we can enjoy various delicacies.
At night, SOP's family members enjoy delicious food and relax here.The team building activity came to an end in a joyful and peaceful atmosphere. Although the event has ended, everyone is still unsatisfied. This team building activity allowed us to relax amidst our busy work schedule.
