Reasons and solutions for overload fault of High pressure blower motor

What should we do if there is a motor overload fault when we use a high-pressure blower? Firstly, we need to identify the cause of the malfunction and then come up with a solution. Now, let's take a look at the reasons for the overload fault of the high-voltage blower motor? And how to deal with these faults?

(1) When the high-pressure blower is operating in the high-pressure zone, it should be appropriately depressurized or replaced with a motor of appropriate power.

(2) Foreign objects are sucked into the high-pressure blower, causing the motor to overload and burn out the motor winding. Check the front end of the high-pressure blower and take measures to handle foreign objects to make it rotate flexibly.

(3) If the power supply voltage is too high or too low, a three-phase power supply voltage stabilization compensation cabinet needs to be installed. The motor is severely damp or corroded by corrosive gases, resulting in a decrease in insulation resistance.

(4) The lack of oil in the bearings, dry grinding, or mechanical misalignment of the rotor can cause the motor rotor to sweep, resulting in the motor current exceeding the rated value. Firstly, the wear of the bearings should be carefully checked, and if they are not qualified, new bearings should be replaced; Secondly, clean the bearings and inject an appropriate amount of lubricating grease. Then check the motor end cover. If the center hole of the end cover is worn and causes the rotor to be misaligned, the end cover should be treated or replaced.

Motor overload:

Motor overload refers to the phenomenon where a general motor has a fixed operating power, called rated power, measured in watts (W). If the actual operating power of the motor exceeds its rated power under certain circumstances, this phenomenon is called motor overload.

There is a thermal relay (overload protection) in the main circuit of the motor. When the motor is overloaded, the thermal relay acts, and the normally closed contacts cut off the control circuit. The normally open contacts close and connect the indicator light. After the overload is eliminated, the contacts of the thermal relay have two reset methods to restart the circuit: manual reset - the reset button needs to be pressed; Automatic reset - overload removal, wait for a while, it will automatically return to normal after cooling down.

If in the manual reset position, after finding the thermal relay, press the red handle on top and you can hear a "pop" sound.
